Can i smoke while im on birth control? |
i'm starting birth control soon and i smoke. not that often, a pack can last me around a month and a half or so. There are said to be side effects. It doesn't say you will get blood clots, it just puts you at a greater risk for blood clots or heart complications. But I know plenty of people who have smoked while using birth control and nothing happened to them. Depends which type of birth control you are on. Generally yes but check with your doctor. You can but it might increase your risk of blood clots. in the pamplet i have they say risks are for heavy smokers which they define as "15 or more per day" so a pack a month is really not a big deal sure, if you like getting blood clots. |
