Can smoking affect your ovaries ?

For people who aren't prego, but smoke can it affect their soon-to-be kids.

How so?
Can only one smoke (like trying it for first time) be Horrible?

can it affect your period?

Yes, duh!

It won't be "horrible" but it's definitely not a good idea.
If you quit smoking BEFORE getting pregnant and don't smoke at all while you're pregnant, the kids will not be affected in the end.
And no, it can't affect your period in any way.
