Who has at least once smoked a cigarette? |
Please answer truthfully. And was it extremely addictive? I first started smoking cigarettes when I was 15 but I only smoked a couple. I started really smoking (like packs) when I was 18 and working at Wal-Mart the stress of work made me want to smoke and i found it was really helpful to smoke. It didnt seem addicting at first, but then I moved into college and started smoking more cause all the people I hung out with did and would offer me cigarettes and even packs eventually I was like "am i gonna get addicted to this ****" and someone told me to stop smoking if I didnt want to get addicted so I did but only for 3 weeks then I started again just for the hell of it. Im 19 now and Im up to a pack a day I cant go a day without them but that is my own decision I would suggest to not smoke if you dont want to get addicted because it costs money and its hard to quit its just a decision you will have to make. Hope my answer was helpful I started smoking at age 14, because it takes the oxygen out of your blood it gives you a "high". That only lasts a bit, then you smoke more. The problem is, you then become addicted. It is easy to get addicted, the nicotine lasts about 15 minutes in your bloodstream, which is one of the reasons the tobacco companies put 20 cigs in a pack. I smoked until I was 52, two years ago. I spent lots of money and psychic energy into attempting to quit for many, many years. Even when my children would not allow my grandchildren in my home because of 2nd hand smoke I could not quit. Even when my husband was turning purple from his smoker's cough. I finally quit when one of my five children developed an addiction. I could not very well tell him to quit when I couldn't even quit cigarettes. That was two years agom ny husband quit with me. I started smoking when I was 18. I continued until I was 22, then quit for a year and a half... but started again. From that point on I smoked for another 27 years - at times smoking as much as two packs per day. I have smoked. I smoke cigarattes, have been doing so for about 6 months. I'm not addicted - I do it because I like to but have gone without them before and to be honest I don't miss them when I don't have them (I don't have withdrawals or anything). It's really strange that I haven't become hooked but I don't recommend it either - it's so bad for you and mostly people are addicted and it can be a hard habit to break for some people. ive never smoked but i been around people that do. Its a bad habit to break. They smoke for everything, Before or after a meal, stressful situations , just because. They continue to smoke all day some people go through packs a day and most of the poeple i know that smoke they started very young and the only reason why they want to quit now is because here in Connecticut a pack is btwn 6 and 7 dollars it went up and is still going up I think it's different for everyone. I started at age 18.. As a social drink thing. I then realized I was buying packs everyday I recently quit because I found out I was pregnant. It was really hard to quit, and it's so addictive. Not worth it at all. After being smoke free for a long period of time I feel so much healthier. I tried smoking when I was 15. Yes, I was 13. urmm i tried it for my firdt time about 6 months ago, but i didnt like it so i stopped, then i tried again about....a month ago and i tried a differant type so i liked it more. I've never smoked in my life, not even once. My grandma used to and I hated the smell of it. It can be addictive, I've seen it happen. But I'm not even tempted to smoke. It's just not healthy. I'm 16, I started at 15, I watched commercials, I stopped at 16. ive been smoking since i was 14 and now 21 and still smoke. Its completely not worth it and yes its vary addicting, and more addicting than not. trying to stop! i started at 13 and no i don't continue to do it and i wasn't addicted to it like most people I started at 13. It's highly addictive and I still smoke. Do not start. |
