What causes burning ,smoking pains that run down my lower back and legs? |
I been dealing w/ these sun burn like pains on my lower back and outer sides of the thighs and legs on and off for 2 years now. You don't say if you are male or female, but here goes......... After I gave birth to each of my children I had terrible sciatic nerve pain because it would get pinched by my pelvic bones going back into normal position. Men get this too, just not for the same reasons, obviously! When the sciatic nerve gets pinched, it causes severe lower back pain that radiates out in jabbing episodes from the lower back running down the legs. Horrible pain! Muscle spasms can cause the pain also. I have to tell you that there are also quite a few people walking around with bulging disks in their backs. These disks are the cushions between the vertabrae in your backbone. When they burst or rupture, you are in alot of pain and trouble! Go to your family doctor because he can prescribe some really helpful pharmaceutical and other types of therapy for you. Sometimes surgery is needed. So, to recap the reasons for back pain are: 1. Sciatic nerve pinched 2. Muscles strain 3. Ruptured or bulging disks Back pain is one of the leading caused of lost work hours in this country. Go see a doctor for relief, okay? Dude!! Got to the doctor!! A pinched nerve in your back. There are a few stretching exercise you can do twice a day that will help immensely. You might want to see a physical therapits for 2 or 3 weeks. Your doctor can arrange it. You have a pinched nerve in your lower back, either at L4 or L5 on your spine.. I know cause i still have it after 15 yrs..Plus i use to be a nurse tech.. |
