I have given up smoking now for 4 months now, have put on 14lb i am very active cn't seem 2 shift it? |
i joined the gym, went everyday turned into muscle just got bigger my main prob is my buttocks,i have just taken up cycling any ideas It takes a heck of a long time to "add muscle" as said. Well longer I mean it's longer to add muscle, then to burn fat. Just watch your calories and deduct 500 calories off what you would usually need to sustain your current weight. Google BMR calculator and whatever that says, then minus the 500. Muscle weighs more than fat. If you have started exercising, your fat is turning into muscle. Also, when you give up smoking, you tend to snack more to do something with your hands now that you don't have a cigarette in them. Try to snack on carrot sticks, celery sticks, or other, cigarette-shaped, low-cal foods. |
