Do you experience a sore throat from smoking?

I have recently had a very sore throat, especially when I swallow. I have only smoked a few cigarettes (it was stupid of me, I know) and I am wondering if that could be the cause. It feels like the gland on the left side of my neck is swollen. I also have allergies right now so I am wondering if that could be what is causing the soreness. Please help! And are there any ways to get rid of this pain. I never plan on smoking again.

yes, especially if i smoke too much. worsens my allergies too...baggy eyes, etc... you sound like you have strep maybe.
Quiting is a great idea....it will be real easy with a sore throat. I suspect you may have strep throat or other non related problems. It is best you see a doctor or health care provider.
