This is my 2nd day of not smoking and i do have on a patch what can i do to curd those sudden cravings?

Not sure if you have heard of this, but I am fixing to try it to quit smoking once again and I have read the clinical research and the outcomes have been quite good. Chantix (Varenicline) has been very successful in helping smokers quit. You take it for two weeks while smoking, then quit and use the patch/gum to help. Of course it won't take all the cravings away, but it will ease them considerably from what I have read. Wellbutrin was supposed to do the same thing, but failed miserably in trials. This looks more promising. Good luck as I am heading there myself.
get very very involved with something you really like, to take your mind off it untill the craving passes. Can you buy more patches
try doing somthing to take your min off it, knitting, typing, cross words anything
Get Nestle Toll House Morsels there in the baking isle.
By the time your thinking about smoking you'll be wanitng another.
(Try real semi-sweet white chocolate) It works for me!
Remember that cravings only last an average of 1-3 minutes, so you only need to distract yourself for that amount of time. Be sure to drink a lot of water; it will help flush your system quicker. Try something with your hands: knitting, crosswords, games, puzzles. Good luck!
Don't sit on the computer, always makes me smoke more. Go somewhere that you couldn't go if you smoked. Change your routine.

Walk. Drink a lot of water. Green tea gets the nicotine out faster. One lady I know chews cinnimon sticks.
I use grapes, or pretzel sticks, frozen grapes work good.

The craving is a sign that the nicotine is leaving.
You have been thru the worse day already, so hang in just one more.

Just think, you will get to eat in the nice part of the resturants. You wont have to waste time standing outside to have that one.
Make list of the things you can only do if you are a non-smoker.

It was great to have the inconvience off my back. The embarassment.

I usually get a very clean house by the end of the third day.

I did great, until I had a car accident, wish I had not given in now I have to do the first 3 days over, that was the worse part.

Keep the hands busy... don't sit down. Take a nap if you need to.
