Do you experience a sore throat from smoking?

I have recently had a very sore throat, especially when I swallow. I have only smoked a few cigarettes (it was stupid of me, I know) and I am wondering if that could be the cause. It feels like the gland on the left side of my neck is swollen. I also have allergies right now so I am wondering if that could be what is causing the soreness. Please help! And are there any ways to get rid of this pain. I never plan on smoking again.

If you smoke too many cigarettes within a certain time frame it can make your throat feel raw and sore.. but by the sounds of it, thats not your prob. Go to your doctors, it might be your allergies or maybe your getting a cold or flu.
