Has anyone ever had plastic surgery without quitting smoking? If so, what were the issues,(if any or not)?

Looking to have breast augmentation, not ready to break the habit.

Oh wow, you could REALLY screw up your healing, and some doctors will not touch you unless you have quit for at least a month prior to the surgery!

I had a tummy tuck when I was still in my 20's. I never quit smoking. I did have a problem with exessive bleeding afterwards, which might have had something to do with the smoking.
yes I had implants also and smoke then! the risk is the comming out af anestha(sp) and the scar healing time! but I'm here and have no visable scar
