How do i get my sister to stop smoking?

Intervention is the only option you have. The choise to quit smoking has to come from here.
As a smoker myself I know there's nothing anyone can do to stop me.
age of your sister is important. U should to be firend with her. and say about bads of smoking and ask her opinion about smoking and help her if she want to stop. if she dont want to stop it u can speak with another people and ask them to help u and speak with her ( for example her firends and peoples she likes them)

You are very sweet to worry about your sister. You have every right to be as we all know the dangers of smoking.

Instead of giving her the 'youre going to die ' lecture ( which will only annoy her and she will stop listening)

Try telling her that it makes your skin look old. Smoking gives you wrinkles. Google it, try get a picture of a wrinkly person, tell her that'll be her if she doesnt stop.

If that doesnt work, you have done all you can really. The truth is, the only person who can stop her smoking is herself. Maybe she is smoking to help her nerves. Maybe she has emotional issues she needs to address.
Anyway, I hope she gives up. Smoking kills. Its already killed my aunty through breast cancer.
Oh ive had an idea. You can print off all these answers and leave it in her room :D

Privately,give her an assortment of stop-smoking aids.(patches,pills,lozenges,p... Also,talk with her.
