Why do my lungs feel like they are baked,I quit smoking last month after 25 years but I feel breathless..? |
I use my puffer more now than before I was smoking....WTF..... I think that our lungs get so heavily coated with all those things in the smoke, that it takes years to clear out. I stopped after 20 years and my asthma came back! I started again after 4 years and never needed the puffer until I finally stopped 6months ago. I reckon my body is getting more air than before and can't cope. Stick with it for two reasons. 1. You will feel better 2, In a few years it will be a crime to smoke anyway Maybe your lungs are doing some major cleaning now that you've stopped smoking? On which, major congrats! I'd also talk to a health professional to get their opinion. Congratulations! Keep it up. Your lungs are doing some major cleaning.............for the first time. You may be coughing some also. I'm not sure what you mean by a puffer, but I'm not so sure if that maybe causing some problems? Go see your physcian. There maybe a reason for feeling so down and there may be something to relieve your symptoms. Ever think that you might have a infection and it is just a coiniidence that it happened at this time? |
