Smoking is an addiction, it isn't like people smoke because they want to commit a slow suicide...
True and so many other drugs too. But smoking is smoking and you dont eat them or drink. Unlike tea coffee coke ect.

i dont, but it has addiction causing ingredients, so they cant stop!! im anti cigarettes, and cigarettes have chemicals that are used to kill plants
I quit smoking several years ago. People do not do it "even though they know it is bad for them" for the sake of stupidity. Nicotine is highly addictive and it is hard for many people to quit.
Nicotine is highly addictive, not to mention the habit of smoking at certain times is hard to kick. I have been quit now for over 3 months and at first, it was the cigs after meals etc that would get me. Not the fact that I was craving nicotine but the fact after I meal I felt lost - only momentarily. I don't even think about smoking these days.
It only takes one cigarette and then it can become addictive.
Most people are not smokers by choice.
They become addicted.
Better never to start.
Although I have not smoked for years, I still miss them every so often.
