Why do girls smoke?

Same reasons boys do ... because they think it looks cool, makes them look older, or because they want to fit in with their mates. But girls also do it because they think it supresses their appetite and so they will be able to lose weight. They will eat less theoretically (probably because everything tastes of smoke so you wouldn't want to eat much) but the trade-off is then emphysema, bronchitis, lung canacer or any one of many very unattractive lung diseases. I am a female and yes i am a smoker, I have tried to give up on many occasions and i have failed each time, I think you can ask the same question regarding males and females, Why does anyone smoke? I don't know why i smoke but i know that when i started it was because all of my friends did it, I know that sounds sad but i was only 13 years old!. I am now in my thirties and i no longer do it because my friends do, and i don't do it because i want to, I just do it because it is a very bad habit.
