How bad is it to smoke while while on birth control? |
How bad is it to smoke while while on birth control? it's really bad, why would you want to do it anyways? Smoking cigarettes while taking birth control pills dramatically increases risks of heart attack for women over 35. Smoking is far more dangerous to a woman's health than taking birth control pills, but the combination of oral contraceptive pill use and smoking has a greater effect on heart attack risk than the simple addition of the two factors. Smoking cigarettes while taking birth control pills increases a woman's risk of having an ischemic stroke (three times more likely in pill users than in nonusers) or a hemorrhagic stroke (three to four times that of nonusers), according to a large World Health Organization (WHO) study. horrible! don't do it! don't smoke no matter what! it will kill you! that is not a lie.just don't do it. Pretty bad. I believe it increases your risk of complications like blood clots and heart problems. Once in awhile smoking may not be as big a deal but, you don't want to chain smoke or anything. if u listen to the commercials you increase ur risks for developing heart conditions. if u wanna get a good answer ask ur doctors. it increases your risk of having a stroke. you can read the literature that accompanies your pills for more detailed information. its bad 2 smoke period. but on the pill you can cause complications like DVT ( deep vein thrombosis), it causes blood clots, the clots can travel and eventually clog you heart, u get a hear attack, or go to your brain! i don't know but i think is to bad cuz u can have problems even worse can kill u . plz take care now that u can cuz morrow will b to late |
