What is it with woman that smoke while they r pregnant? |
Those who do make the excuse, that it's thier body and they can do what they want. Bad excuse if u ask me. What do u think? I totally agree. Seems that if a woman isn't going to take care of her baby correctly while it's in her body, she most likely isn't going to take care of it correctly when it's out. However, my mom smoked when she was pregnant with me. Smokes to this day, and I was diagnosed with having asthma when I was 12 years old. After being diagnosed, she smoked in the car on the way home after the Resp. Therapist told her never to smoke around me. Oh well, she's not a terrible mother and I do love her. Anyways, getting back to the smoking while pregnant issue, I was more 9 lbs, 9 oz. Obviously not low weight. I'm 18 now and pretty healthy besides the asthma. I dont know I asked my wife same thing when smokin being pregnant powerfull addiction it is. I agree. It's not only their body that they're affecting, it's also the body of their unborn child. Any woman that does that must not care too much that her child is at a very high risk for taking up smoking in later life and that she is affecting the child's health even before he/she is born. very bad, no no no mommy Smoking during pregnancy leads to several birth defects, I think women who use the "it's my body" excuse are making a terrible mistake. Please stop smoking and drinking as soon as you find out you're pregnant, it is not good for the baby. Tell next pregnant woman you see this its a proven fact nicotene can be transmitted to the baby through the placenta. It will affect the baby I promise. |
