Thanxs for answering my question. I didnt mention that i smoke a pack a week and might gain weight if i stop? Not necessarily! My older brother smoked about 2 packs in a day (!!). The nicotine sticking helped him and he hasn鈥檛 been smoking from three weeks by now. Undoubtedly, the great nervousness and the routine to handle something with the hand and mouth have given him the new habit to suck many sweets and chew gums during the day. Besides, during the meals he is eating more. The consequences of all that surely will be a bit increase of his weight. He鈥檚 hoping that later, when the nervousness will decrease and the smoke will become an old memory only, those new habits ended for ever. I notice that you weren鈥檛 a great smoker and if you don鈥檛 eat more than usual, your weight won鈥檛 gain. Good luck! take up running or yoga. not only will it help with avoiding weight gain, but it should also help you quit smoking. also, it would help you to commit to quitting if you had a friend to have her go jogging or go to yoga classes with you. |
