What kind of birth control should i use, i smoke?


Well I'm 15 getting put on birth control and i don't know what kind to get put on, because ive heard the pill isn't very good if you smoke and ive heard that both the patch and the shot could mess you up to where you can;t even have children. im just looking for some help

Smoking does not lower the effectiveness of the pill, patch, or shot. It increases the chance of BC KILLING you! BC has a risk of blood clots. Smoking significantly increases these risks.

The patch has been recalled. The shot is obnoxious.

You should not be smoking. You are putting your life at risk. You won't be able to use the patch either since you smoke. If you plan onhaving kids some day you shouldn't smoke anyway.
Good grief. You are only 15? You shouldn't be having sex in the first place. Do you know what they call girls who have sex before 18 (at the earliest)??????

I am 20 i also smoke and i am on the pill and so far it has worked wonderful for me! so give it a try
stop smoking there is no way to get around that one smoking and birthcontrol don't mix and there are no exceptions unless you just never have sex.....
first stop smokeing n then work on other problems
pills are a great thing, but smoking is really bad if u use them... maybe u should think about giving up your smoking girl
