You could have an allergy to dairy products as these will clog you up in this way Don't take antibiotics for this problem. The antibiotics kill off the good bacteria in your gut. I would try avoiding dairy products and see if that helps. You should also check www.curezone.com and see if there are other people who have dealt with a similar problem. Sinuses. I get this when i put the central heating on due to the dry heat. If you've got radiators in your house, try putting a bowl of water in each room to keep the moisture in. Also put a blob of Vikk's vapour rub in your nostrils too before you go to sleep. Dairy products also encourage phlegm, so don't have a cup of tea before you go to sleep! Allergies, most likely. You have post-nasal drip that runs down into your throat and lungs while you are lying down. Get some allergy medication and it should clear up. It sounds like you have an allergy because the phlegm is clear rather than yellow or green which would denote a possible infection.
