Is stress a lifestyle choice or just inevitable for some people?

I'm having this discussion with someone and would like some other opinions...thanks!

I think some people have a higher pre-disposition to stress than other's, but stress is something under our control. Whether we want to admit it or not, we can control how we respond to our environment. People can be taught how to recognize their stress triggers and keep stress under control. Cognitive behavior therapy shows that our mental outlook can greatly impact our stimulus response.

Stress is defined as the endurance capacity of cerebral system to view the incident its repercussion and limitations to cope with the problem . If you are in position to meet with the situation and have the remedial measures , one will never have the stress .
Its a process to examine and develop / inculcate fear for meeting incapability for the solution of problems

If you are a minor child and you live with Stress then it is inevitable. If you are an adult and are surrounded by stress it is a choice. When you are a minor you really don't have much of a choice, but as an adult you can do a lot to get away from stress.

Some people just cannot help but get stressed, whereas others are layed back about everything. I would nt go as far to say that it is choice, more like what life has done to some, exspecially being a sensitive person, then you are a target for stress.

Stress is hard to avoid you only have to so much talk to a friend whos having a bad day and your stressed. Its not a choice but its not avoidable

yes i agree with numba 1 answer
