How do I releave stress that is causing me to be so uptight you can actually see it in my face.?

I find myself so tense that I have to tell myself to relax. I really need help with this

A relationship helps, with someone you love

Is there a massage school in your area? Call them up and ask if you can get a massage from a student (they're usually SUPER-cheap!!!). A 1-hr massage will do wonders!

Go to a friend's and watch a cheesy chick-flick, eat chocolate, popcorn and whatever else you feel like. (Keep these kinds of thing to "occasionally"- packing on pounds can also cause stress.)

Send the roommates or family out for the day, and commandeer the bathroom. Light a candle or two, turn down the lights and take a nice long warm soak. When you get out and dry off, put on some pretty-smelling lotion, and paint your toenails.

I tend to de-stress by doing something about the cause of the stress. Is your stress coming from the checkbook? Sit down and write up a budget- a plan for where the money is to go. Is the stress about a relationship- work out a way to solve the problem (write a letter, plan what you need to tell that person, etc).

Good luck- *hugs*

-Go to a spa and get a facial & massage
-Exercise
-Masturbate/Sex
-See your doctor
:o)

go out and do something you enjoy such as shopping. forget about everything else for a while. Have Fun!

do something that makes you feel good. for me shopping and sex relieves stress
