I am getting really stressed about my cap on the front of my tooth has fallen off!!!? |
Hi, I was lying in bed and my tooth cap just popped off! I got really stressed and then went to the emergency dentist the next day. It is now loose again and I can feeling it clicking around! I am getting really worked up and either need some advice on stress or my cap! Please help! Try getting some Fixadent (denture adhesive) and put it into the crown and put the crown back on, and then go to your dentist as soon as you can to see what they can do for you. It fell off for one of three reasons: 1) You have decay under the crown so the tooth structure is weakened and is too soft to hold the crown on, 2) you have too little tooth structure and there is not enough to hold the crown on, or 3) you ate something sticky and it made it come off. Whatever it may be, go to your dentist and see what they can do.....but the Fixadent will be a great temp fix! :D |
