What do you when you feel stressed out and overwhelmed?? |
What sorts of things make you feel better about life when you feel like there is so much that you have to do and there isnt enough time!? Exercise definitely. Anything that brings you back to your animal instincts is great. Life is complicated, but it once was much simpler. As we learn more, we feel more pain and pleasure. Since it is mental pain that wears most people down, we should all shift our lives back into a physical realm. Life weights, play sports, no psychoactive drugs. Well, I assume exercising WOULD work but I'm a bit too lazy for that. When things get too overwhelming, I blast music (earphones) and block out everything else. Only think about the music. if you are over whelmed with work or school or what ever you need to take some "me time" something you like to do and just stop worrying for a Little bit. secondly you have to stop procrastinating (unless you find that pressure uh how should i put it encouraging) to help stop the procrastination just kind of ration out what you have to do don't do it all at once or you will never get inspired enough to do it. one last thing, I find myself telling me this alot " calm down a take a deep breath every thing is going to be all right." sounds like youre describing me! this is exactly how i felt for the past two years. you know what i did to fix it? quit my job!!! best decision i've ever made. its been two weeks now and it feels so awesome to be free. if that is something you cant do then try to look at tasks one at a time instead of the whole picture. i used to get overwhelmed when i had a project to do because i would think of everything that had to be done and stress out. but if i focused on one part of the project instead of the whole thing then i was able to get it done w/o much problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL-7WVa-a... excercise, it releases hormones that difuse stress. take a 2 hour bike ride and come back and do w/e u have to do I exercise |
