What do you use as an IMMEDIATE stress buster?


I am looking for an effective, easy, and quick de-stressor when I am in the thick of it. ie I have a baby and a toddler both crying and my 4yr old is yelling down the staris that she cant turn the tap off in the bathroom and i can see it comming down the stairs.

Of course, i understand prioritise, I can get the job done, but I am often left feeling VERY stressed. How can I dispell that stress quickly? My current method is chocolate...it works, its great, its to hand...BUT it is making me pile on some pounds, SO, i need to replace it with something. any ideas? what do you do?

Breath in for the count of three and out for the count of four (through the nose), This helps balance your oxygen level when stressed and helps you calm down. Practise this twice a day for a couple of mins, so when you actually need it , it comes quicker and you calm down quicker.

Run in place. Start slow and work up to as fast as you can, as long as you can, (or until you must stop because of some life/death or needs stitches emergency)

This pumps you full of adrenaline, relieves your stress, & causes your kids to stare at you in wonder and quit crying or yelling,---- and when you're done- you feel much better!

You might want to warm up by running upstairs to turn off that water, tho!

id punch a pillow and also try talking to someone from like email because u can vent all your feelings maybe you can try to eat something more healthy that you like maybe like an apple take bbig bites into it:) maybe just take a quick walk around the block to be away from it for a littlee

in all seriousness.get yourself a good toy. go in the bathroom, lock the door, shut your eyes and strum away. you 'll feel much better... sex produces a big burst of endorphins.+calories burnt =
stress busted.

put a cushion over your face and scream as loud as you can. (the cushion is so you dont scare the kids)
or just punch the cushion

Prayer,deep breaths and at least one hour of time to myself every day even if its at one in the morning.GOD-bless

Meditattion. It is easy, cheap and works a charm. Just close your eyes and focus on your breathing, that's it!
