Could it just be stress? |
I'm 18, quit birth control maybe 5 months ago, started my period when i was 13 and have always been regular. recently moved away from home, 2,500+ miles away. started period on friday, very very light. no need for a pad or tampon. saturday morning i took a bus for 3 days, first time moving out, was alone on the trip and quite nervous, never left my state before, ect. arrived to new home on monday night. period started a normal flow on tuesday morning. now its almost sunday morning and still have a regular flow when usually periods last 5-6 days max. took the morning after pill a couple days ago. have had more sex then normal these past few days, (moved in with the bf). why is my period lasting so long? just the stress of moving and looking for a new job? because of more sexual activity? (was menstrating during recent sexual activities) no pain, cramps, slight fatigue, no stomache aches, no nausea, ect. everything else is normal. any ideas why its longer than normal? the 'Plan B Pill' being the morning after pill? or the day to day birth control? plan b is the nest day pill. this could be stress related, but it is probably related more so to the plan b pill, this is designed to rid the body of any signs of pregnancy, hence the longer period dont worry about it, it is everything combined stress and the plan b pill.... the pill makes your period be a little longer it can go up to 9 days maybe but stress its not helping at all too.... you have to rest, take warm baths and also take hot beverages.... your fine... your body its just reacting different to a new drug It's longer than normal because of the Plan B pill. The pill is designed to expel any 'evidence' of pregnancy. |
