Stress induced sickness?

About 2 months ago I moved back into my mom's house, I was supposed to be taking over responsibility of the bills, etc. My boyfriend started staying with me also. It seems like since I've been back home I've been having diarrhea and stomach cramping at least once every couple days. Yesterday my boyfriend and I got in a fight and he left. Since then I've been been sick nearly non-stop, even waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I also feel nauseated at the same time.
This morning when I woke up I had to use the bathroom again, AND I vomited.

I'm assuming this is stress-induced. Am I correct? Should I go to the doctor? With my boyfriend gone I don't really have the money for my co-pay until my next pay day (August 1st), what can I do until then?

I'm 19 years old, I will be 20 in August, if that makes a difference.

Last period was June 30, about a 26 day cycle. I'm not really thinking it's pregnancy though.

The thing that sucks is that my mom's been away since June 12 visiting her sisters 1200 miles away. She's trying to get home now because I've been hysterical.

I would guess stress induced. I would also guess you have an ulcer. An unlcer is brought on by a bunch of stress and if you take some kind of pain reliver on top of that it makes it worse. When I started 7th grade I was throwing up so bad that half the time I couldn't go. Same thing with 8th grade. My mom kept saying I was just nervouse of going to school and to get over it. Finally after 2.5 years of this she took me to the doctors for it. We waited a week and they called and told me I had an infection in my stomach. I had a bacteria which caused an ulcer. The ulcer caused me to have diarria, and to throw up all the time. If certain foods like make it worse then I would definitly tell you to go to the doctor.

Could be stress related, or the vomitting means it could be pregnancy? Hard to tell, probably best to visit your family doctor.

If stress related, try talking to your mom. Do you have a good relationship with her? Try telling her how you feel, what you are trying to do, what your hopes are, etc. Sometimes just having a supportive shoulder to talk to helps relieve some of the stress.

Sress is a serious killer. It sounds fairly likely that this is stress mainfesting itself, although pregancy is always possible if you're sexually active. Have you had your period yet? is it time to have it yet? Seeing your doctor is a definite. Whether it's for a pregancy test, or perhaps prescribing medication for your pains, it's time to go to the docs:)

Definantly intertwined with stress.
this doesn't mean the stress caused it;
you probably caught a flu or something from someone, and the stress just added to it, and stretched it out majorly.
I'd say just talk to your mom and ask her if maybe once you try sleeping for just like one straight day, if she could help you pay for the co-pay.
But! Definantly feel better.
And a few backhands on that boy; he'll get his act straight.
haha.
feel better :]

ok i would try asking your mom if she can take u to the doctor usually insurance cover it but if you really thin kits because of stress then the best (cheapest) way to help urself is to pour out all of nyour feelings to a trustworthy friend and then ask them to help..... i hope you feel better : ]

im thinking pregnancy or food poisoning. stress induced illness does not usually present in this way.. normally it presents as gastric reflux like stomach ulcers.. try to chillax till u see your doctor!

Well, it sounds like you are pregnant.
Why don't you call your bf and tell him that; then try to solve the problem without fighting.

Did you have a pregnancy test? You could be preggie,,,
otherwise , stress will cause your symptoms a lot of times... try some aerobic exercise to help relieve stress.

Pregnant?

Pregnant wouldn't give diarrhea.

It could be stress related if you've had that symptom before with stress in your life. If you have not then I would think it is gastrointestinal issue.

You need to get some good flora in your system. Get some good quality yogurt and eat it daily.

Avoid foods that upset your system and eat the BRAT diet. Bread applesauce rice toast. Little sips of water, gatorade or pedialyte (yes adults can use that too) but frequently. The last thing you want to do is dehydrate yourself.

If you feel you need medical attention then go to the emergency room. Your health is more important than worrying about a future bill.

I hope your health returns soon.
