I'm Full of Stress, Anger, Hate, And Keep Lashing Out. How Can I Ease These Emotions?

I'm 15 years old. I recently stopped going to my Phsycologist (I was talking to him for a while about how I felt living with Type one / insulin dependant diabetes for 7 years of my life) and since then I have been full of a heap of bad emotions. However, I've managed to suppress it by writing or drawing or losing myself in music and mates and my boyfriend of 7 months.
Recently, my dad, who moved to America when I was one, had remarried. Me and my elder sister dealt with this with alot of pain, and I have recently been told I'm going off the rails. I've been seriously snappish, I get jealous easily and am becoming clingy.
Just about 10 minutes ago, for no reason, I burst into tears, screamed and totally trashed my room. I'm on my sisters laptop atm cause mine is smashed into pieces. =/ There'll be hell to pay when Mum gets home, but right now, I just want to know if there's any way I can calm myself down before getting like this again?
Thanks alot for your help. x

I've also got my periods, but my mood swings are never this bad. As i mentioned, I've been diabetic for 7 years, and this has had a huge effect on me lately because I obviously cannot act like a normal teenager without side effects. A few days ago I went out and got drunk with mates, which resulted in my being hospitalised.
I'm not sure if Diabetes is the cause of my anger and random out bursts, but I think it may be.
Also, my boyfriend and me had a slight fall out over jealously last night, but we're alright now I think. He's coming over to talk about it soon, Could that also have caused it? Though again, I'm never normally lke this, I'm normally very calm.

I think you should go and see a new counsellor of psychotherapist who has experience and knowledge of Attachment Therapy, which relates to how you were brought up and therefore how you formed close attachments then and how it effects what you do now. Its not someone to talk to especially its someone who operates by using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - its about helping you recognise and alter patterns of behaviour on certain 'triggers' - its much more useful than just explaining your behaviour - it gives you the tools to do something about it too.

You father has been a let down and you have anxiety and anger related towards that, understandibly so. You need to work out how to get through that not try and heap blame all on yourself. You need to find a way of understanding how and why you react now and what triggers the anger.

There is a great Anger Management book too - called Letting Go of Anger: The Eleven Most Common Anger Styles and What to Do About Them by Ronald T Potter-Efron. Its well worth reading it.

You have recognised and tried sorting your problems - persevere with that as you will find a resolution through counselling.

Also, dont be hard on yourself - I was a nightmare of hormones and anger when I was a teen and that is quite common in every teenager!

Best of luck.

Have you been keeping a close eye on your blood count ??
If not do it and I bet you will find your readings are all over the place that's will explain your moods I'm betting you sugar levels are way to high.
Ask you doctor to refer you to a Diabetic clinic where you will be understood more.

I think you will find a small alteration to your diet will do the trick stay on low carbs its really important, hey!!!!! and no cheating.
I have a feeling your still a bad tempered about diabetes thing its hard to conform especially when your so young

This might sound stupid but get a punch bag so that when you get an emotional outburst you can take it out on it instead of ure room and laptop. At least you realise that you're becoming clingy etch and are not being like that without knowing.
Get more appointments with you're phsycologist if they helped when you had them before- you need to let it all out.

Do you think it would help to see your psychologist again? Did sessions with him help? EFT is a very good way of dealing with emotions because it's something you can use yourself. There are free resources available on the net but I would recommend doing a couple of sessions or a course with a trained practitioner because that way you'll know you're using it correctly.

Think about what you want out of life. Not the little stuff that you can buy but the important things in life like peace, self esteem, happiness etc. Then think about ways you can achieve those. That may not be ways you've achieved them in the past but life is constantly changing so you may be able to get them in a new way.
