Stress is making my feel extremely sick?


im 17 and am overwhelmed by stress right now. not always stressed out but all of the sudden i am overwhelmed with things. i also recently checked bp and it was 170/108. (when i wasnt stressed) i just got home and when driving home i was feeling lightheaded and nauseous. ive been throwing up from the stress and i actually think i passed out on my bed for a few seconds. when i got home my face was like white. when i was driving home my hands and feet were shaking and i could even hear my teeth chattering. i have a really bad headache, and im feeling this uncomfortable extreme pressure in my head. my heart feels like its going to beat out of my chest. please dont tell me ways to handle the stress. these are things i need to get done asap and other serious things i need to do or handle. i feel like the stress is killing me. i cant eat or drink anything and i STILL feel nauseous and lightheaded like im gunna throw up or pass out again. please please help. ahh i feel horrible.....

Wow, you really need to figure out the source of all your stress and try to find a way to assist it to subside. However, in addition to that you really need to go to the doctor. They can give you medication that will help durastically with the panic and stress...like valium. That will help to calm you and to assist you to think and reason calmly. Do not get on antidepressents unless you need to though. However, you need to get in there and address this BP/Stress issue with the doctor first. You are really putting yourself at risk and have already waited to long-so go tomorrow. This is a common complaint so do not feel embarrassed. It is really important. They could refer you to someone to talk with too to help you out if you ask. It may be good to talk with someone that can help you resolve and reason with the stress factors in your life. It is just a really bad time of year for everyone I think. But you know what...no matter how bad you stress you still have to deal with issues and you still will see the sun come up tomorrow so it is really better to challenge your stress and just remain calm. Either it works out or it does not but it is easier to look into life calm. The doctor really can help!! Good Luck!!

I can so relate to what you are going through. I feel like i am headed for total burnout. It sounds like you need a break from everything. Try and take a mini vacation by yourself to getaway from it all. I am planning on doing that in a few weeks. Stress is horrible and can cause so many problems. You need to take time for yourself and recoup before it gets worse.

Welcome to the world...take 10 deep breaths, check that diet, take your time, find a schedual, and don't make too many things up that a hypochondriac would find useful when u journalize.
And don't go OC about telling-not- your doctor.

Your blood pressure is too high. You need to see a doctor.
You didn't say what was stressing you out. I would avoid it if possible. Change your lifestyle if possible. Take some "me" time out to rest by yourself.
