Chest pain? stress?

I have had chest pain/pressure for one week which wont subside. I鈥檓 concerned it could be medical BUT it started 2 days prior to a life-changing interview & hiring & now it鈥檚 decision time. could this be stress? it's just like something is sitting on my chest or squeezing my chest all day every day. i already take a heartburn medication and know it's not heartburn. someone told me it could be a panic attack BUT this chest pain is CONSTANT and does NOT subside. thanks

It sounds like it is stress related. Heartburn can be caused by stress. So the fact that you stated that you have to make a life changing decision and you are taking medicine for heartburn leads me to believe that you experiencing some level of stress. I know that if it were me that decision would be all that is on my mine. I imagine that it is weighing heavily on yours and that is all that you think about. This probably creates you to feel some anxiety. Anxiety can make your chest feel heavy and as though you can't breathe. It can be quite painful to feel like this. I am sure that once you come to some conclusion on this decision, you will start to feel better. The heartburn should subside and pain/pressure on your chest should be relieved.

Did you do any strenuous exercise, or weight lifting that could cause sore muscles? Otherwise I would advise a visit to the Dr.
Better save than sorry (dead)

Possibly stress related. See your doc to make sure

Stress! it does weird things to you. You need to go see your Dr, he may put you on Somac, or something similar
