How can stress affect you physically? Please Help!? |
health sure it can. i have scheduled exercise stress testing for this. (my doc has) but yes stress is not a helpful thing on many parts of the body, especially your heart. (at any age) see your doctor and tell him/her. good luck! BIG-G Stress can affect every aspect of your life...you need to know that there is negative stress and positive stress and is triggered by an external or internal demand being made on or by your body. Stress causes a release of chemicals in your blood that can strengthen you and heighten your senses...which is a good thing if you are in danger and need to get away. Like everything, if overdone or not controlled, it can have negative impact on your body and mental state...especially if there is no need (you are not in danger for example) for it, so the chemicals are emitted but not used. First, mentally. You can't think straight. If it persists, then it goes into the physical body, where the weak spot(s) is or are located. Meditation is a way to alleviate stress, but better even, solve the stress situation by taking whatever action need be to erase that stress source from your life. All kind of ways, actually. It can slow down your body's ability to process nutrients correctly and efficiently, cause you to store more of your food as fat, and also cause you to feel ill. Yes, you can be worried sick. well it gives you spots i mean come on look at me iv been getting nothing but stressed and you have seen how spotty iv got!!! and you can lose your appetite too and i dunno thats all i can think of but why are you stressed anyway hun??? Can affect sleep and your menstrual cycle. Can also start skin conditions such as excema. I used to be stressed all the time, it made my stomache hurt. and i became depressed, I started to sleep alot more and throw up allot. now i just forget about it and go with the flow. Your body will die faster due to increased aging. cortisol is released and less endorphins are produced which leads to depression of course..... you feel sluggish and do not feel like doing anything.... and you eat eat eat i get pimples. |
