What are the best simple ways to ease extreme stress?

Dissociate your mind and abstract your thoughts, which is what I pretty much tell by default. Think about baseball or something you enjoy.

Listening to music(it helps a lot!!!)
, talking to someone(friend),reading jokes,deep breathing,walking in a nature(or somewhere where there is fresh air),trying to look on problems(or anything that causes extreme stress)from another point of view, from "above".

Whenever I get really stressed out I either go for a run and workout or soak in the bathtub with the lights out. Reading also helps because it get your mind off things.
