I have high amounts of stress?


For about no reason.

I'm nervous all the time or anxious, but I'm about 92% sure that it isn't a stress disorder...

Can anyone tell me ways to reduce stress or anxiety by any means?

Yes, as I am going through the same and have been since last year.

We can't always get rid of stress but we can change how we deal with it.

The best thing to do is to set aside time every day to just "be". Put away all your thoughts of work and troubles and just sit. I can go on and on and pretty much write a book about techniques, but they are all in this book, "The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook". I recommend this book, as it is helping me TREMENDOUSLY. There are several chapters on relaxation methods, etc. and whether or not you have an anxiety disorder, or normal amounts of anxiety in your life, this book will help you find that anxiety is based on what we tell ourselves, either consiously or subconsiously.

I also recommend lemon balm tea or capsules, which are a natural way to soothe and relax a nervous stomach. One capsule works very well, or you can buy the herb and plant it inside or out and use it to make tea. It is naturally found in many herb teas, usually in conjunction with chamomile. This has helped me in the past, especially when my stomach is so upset that I can't eat and I rarely need to take them.

exercise, especially things like yoga or tai chi are supposed to be very good. meditation and deep breathing could help. for me counselling has really helped lower my anxiety more than anything.

Get Sleep, stay away from alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine.
They all cause anxiety in their own way.

Take deep breaths and count to 10 during they day when needed. It really does help.
