Can stress make people gain weight and by wat? Stress is really odd. Some stress people will almost starve themselves, but the majority will at some time comfort eat. You comfort eat and find you are putting on weight, which guess what, makes you stressed so you comfort eat, well up to a point anyway... Definitely. I know I often seek comfort food when I am stressed. I believe there is also a hormone released when we are stressed out that can cause weight gain. But people can train themselves to deal with stress in healthier ways (exercise is great a relieving stress, for example). stress make body increase the corticosteroid homons,and they deposit fat in tissue,that's howcome people get fat when they are stressed and also cortones increase the apetite. stress can do all kinds of weird things to you |
