What should I do to relieve stress and anxiety? |
I have no medication that I am taking. I been alone for a few days, just been busy around the house, and I have college mid terms coming up and making me miserable, and my girlfriend is angry at me so I begin to panic. I read I should just exercise, and take deep breaths, but its hard to take deep breaths when it's hard to even breath, and now im scared im going to have another 'anxiety attack' again, what should I do? Exercise? Go running? Jogging? swim? Concentrate on taking slow, deep breaths through your mouth. Go for a walk, jog, run, swim...any of those things. I do not know what the experts would say, but this method always works when I feel stressed out. Go in to your garage, if you have one, or just to a place where you can be alone. Then find something that you can destroy, like a useless lamp or an old computer. Destroy the object using your hands and feet or with a pole or baseball bat. Breaking things gets your mind off of your worries and it always calms my nerves. - (Hope this helps!!!!) one word: weed |
