Can stress and anxiety cause a stillbirth at 17 weeks or any horrible fetal loss even if your baby is fine?

I have a mental disorder a phobia about fear of losing my baby any little thing that i feel or happens i get worse can this actually cause me to lose the baby?

NO! Worry is normal. Babies are amazing little creatures. They continue to grow even under harsh conditions, (look at starving women in Africa who have babies). You will have a wonderful little baby.

I suffered from anxiety and panic while I was pregnant and I came through it just fine. Best of all, I have a wonderful 9 month old son!!

i lost a baby to still birth i aws 37 weeks you need to calm yourself down and just breathe talk to your doctor. If your that concerned about your baby visit the website SADS on that website theres a link called kicks count I know your not far enough yet but it helps you keep a good track on your babies heath day to day. I'm sure everything will be fine congragulations !!:)

Stress is bad for a non pregnant person so talk to your doctor because you are endangering your pregnancy by ignoring your problems...you could go into premature labor and that is not a pleasant experience. You need to address this problem now before something happens to you and the baby. Be strong and I will pray for you.

I don't know much about pregnancy stress but surely the best solution will be to talk about it, to your friends or your partner or maybe see a therapist. Hope everything goes well for your and your baby. :)

no not everyday normal stress. Serious stress like divorce, family death, legal problems wouldnt be good but at 17 weeks I imagine there is a level of hardiness in the baby.
