Can stress and worrying cause your periods to be really light?

If someone has been worrying A LOT for a week before their period, and then their period flow is a lot lighter than usual... is it because of their anxiety?

Possibly. Being very stressed can certainly affect your periods and make them lighter or even stop altogether. Sometimes though periods can be lighter for no obvious reason other than a hormonal 'glitch'.
I feel that there is more behind this question though.....are you concerned you may be pregnant? If not I apologise but if this is the reason behind the question then I would say it is unlikely that you are pregnant as you have had a bleed but doing a pregnancy test will put your mind at rest. Take care.

I would suggest that stress can affect hormone levels TREMENDOUSLY and thus increase, decrease, eliminate or induce a monthly period ... most definitely.

I would take heed at the suggestion above as well... which delves into possible pregnancy.

Don't play around with your body.

Time is never friendly to a body needing attention.

Best of luck to you.

Absolutely!

yes, and it can trigger heavier ones too
