What are some things you can do to relieve stress?

I am like going nuts and I don't know why. My family's been having severe issues and I'm in like this uphill battle with everything and I can't take it anymore. Normally I don't really show my feelings to anyone and I think I'm going to burst. My head is pounding and I feel faint all the time. The only person I did talk to is out of reach in a way and I don't know what to do. I feel like really sick and out of order. Please help me.

I am a mother of 5 kids ages 11 years to 20 months. I feel like the stress queen. It is a part of my life and the things I do to help relax and unwind is to meditate, read, take a walk, and my personal favorite is to just get plan down right stupid silly. When stress is involved laughter really is the best medicine.

Try excercise like Yoga or something. Also music brings my stress level down. Upbeat music that cheers you up. Also you might sit down with your family and explain to them that youre stressed out. Also you when things get really heavy at home go to the park and read a god book or something. If you cant call anyone to talk to write it down. Getting it out somehow always helps. And writing it on paper seems to just release some of that for me. Good luck with everything and remember just because they are all stressed doesnt mean you have to be also.

Its not the same as talking to someone else, but it might help to keep a journal of your feelings. Sometimes just getting them off your chest and out of your head can be a big help. Other than that, try exercising, listening to music, take a walk outside, dance, do sometime you genuinely enjoy to keep your mind from focusing solely on the negative stuff. Trust me, my family is going through some issues right now too and its definitely not easy, but sitting around and stewing over it will only make you feel worse and it can actually make a problem seem even worse than it is. Its not easy but it will pass!

I find that when there are family fights at my house, i can just call on a jog and leave the problems in the wind. It allows me to leave the feuds behind and escape from the anxiety and problems. I am also a secluded person when it comes to emotions, but when i go outside, maybe take a walk in the woods i can see the good in life and feel better about myself and the situations i am in. Going outside helps me with stress, all you need to do is find an activity which allows you to forget the problems and feel good about life in general

First of all, make sure you're eating enough and getting enough water. Drinking at least 64 oz of water a day does wonders for your health and how you feel.

Get some New Age music to listen to. Some particularly relaxing artists are Oystein Sevag and John Flomer (www.spotteypecary.com). Not sure they're on iTunes, but you can check. Focus on the music and tuning out everything else. Go to your room, light a few candles, and just relax with the music. I know it sounds all hippie, but it really does wonders.

Lots of people like baths to relax. Not my thing, but could work for you. Just getting out to the park or beach can help as well. The fresh air and calm settings are great. Gets some of your friends together and plan a road trip (if you're old enough) for a weekend, or a day trip to somewhere fun like an amusement park. Getting out of the house and being busy will help a lot.

Good luck.

here is what i do when i feel that way.

(1)Sing my ******* heart out to my fav songs [and you have to wail like yell the damn song!] try nevervous breakdown by black flag

(2) workout

(3) yell at the wall

try and see.

Do you know every thought will consume some energy? So dont fill so many thoughts in your mind. Instead of so many thoughts you think only one thought. Practice like this. If you want relieve stress you please loudly tell your problems to god in a room. You can relieve your stress.

What helps me when everything gets out of control is to take up a hobby. Knitting can be very relaxing and allows you to drift into a different place.

Another thing would be to exorcise when you're stressed. It releases endorphins.

Get a shovel. Dig a hole. Yell into the hole. Then bury your problems. works for me. I always feel a certain relief, don't know if it's the digging or the yelling but at least I get it out of my system.

DO NOT DO SEX!!!!!!! Do something like yoga, go to a spa, get ur nails done, and maybe go for a walk. but pleasedo not do sex. U will regret doing "it" and it is stupid if u do it becuz of pure pressure

Exercise and do some of your favorite things. Even if you don't feel like it. Make yourself, and once your out you'll feel normal again. Good luck.

petting animals, hot drinks, sitting in your pajamas and just watching a movie. you need to relax and take your mind off everything

Have a nice hot foam bath or go swimming.

I also play piano and practice Karate. Practicing singing helps me a lot as well.

take a hot bubble bath,try yoga,talk to a close friend,read a book at a quiet place,party,SHOP.

i always listen to music if I'm stressed
always helps me
shut your door and turn it up

Masturbate. Works every time for me.....

so, what are your opinions on marijuana?

sex

dont lisen to him lol... well u can try exercising.. just do something that keeps u busy.. good luck
