Stressed out and worried...ideas?

I've just been stressed out for the past few hours. I just started my college today to finish my last two classes to graduate and get my degree in American Sign Language Interepreting. If everything goes well, I'll graduate this December before my second child is born. My daughter is in day care, so I can finish my school and gradute.

Anyways, the problem is... I talked to my interpreting instructor and she told me if I don't finish my classes soon to graduate I would have to start all over again (it's an RID guideline thing). It's not just that, but for some reason every time I take this one class (This would be the 4th time), I would have a hard time finding a site to go to, to get the hours I need to pass this class. I need 150 hours for the entire semester. I'm willing to put in as many hours as possible. She told me not long ago, there are plenty of sites now than there was before. Now I'm talking to her and there aren't hardly any sites to go to in order for me to do this class. I'm worried that I won't find a site that will help me get the hours I need. I'm hoping and praying that something will pop up or come up that's available before it's too late to get the hours I need. I meet with my instructor again tomorrow at 11am to discuss the class. I'm just so worried, I don't know how to stay calm and focus on something else. Any ideas on not worrying so much? Thanks!

I just trust the Lord and He always comes through for me. The Lord tells us not to worry and to cast all our troubles on Him. Do you know Jesus?

Wow, God and Xanex so far, two completely different answers huh? Haha. For starters, you could take a moment to find a little humor in that =) And then maybe continue on from there! It's a cliche, but laughter can really be the best medicine. If your daughter doesn't stress you out too much, maybe you can take a few minutes to sit with her doing something calm - playing with a toy, reading a book, or even watching a movie - sometimes vegging out can really help. If you think being alone would be more relaxing, find a time when you can have just a few minutes to yourself (i know, easier said than done) and do something that you enjoy doing! It doesn't have to be anything important...personally I like to read or play a song on the piano. Maybe you'd just like to take a hot shower/bath, or just curl up and eat some chocolate and watch a chick flick. Whatever it is, take a few moments to not think about all of the stress you've got (ive found that sitting with your eyes closed doesnt help me much, it just gives me time to think about all the things i have yet to do haha). Give it a few hours, or even a day, before you start trying to tackle your class dilemma - sometimes taking a little time off can make you think clearer and present an option you didnt think of - talk to your husband about it, too, perhaps.

Good luck with everything - hope you're a little less stressed and the classes work out. As an aside, congratulations on making it so far through schooling with a daughter and another child on the way! You're quite an individual, and I'm sure you'll find some way to work all of this out.

call your doctor and get some xanax or valium. honestly...it's the only thing that works. god helps too, but xanax has saved my life from worrying.

i didn't see anything about you having another baby...maybe i missed something. if you're prego, don't take xanax. and no, it's not opposite from god. god gives us the power to produce medicines to help us in times of need. it's easy to tell you to breathe, meditate, blah, blah, blah... only if you're not suffering yourself. I've been there and much worse and just trying to give my honest opinion.
