I am 15 stated off heavy weight training on my birthday am i puting my body under to much stress


i work out 3 maybe 4 times a week at the gym i am have been useing heavyish weights now for nearly a year and yes i have had results i spose, but am i puting my body under stress i only do upper body mainly becuse be4 i started working out my body was pathetic now its orite i thort by getting bigger it would improve my sports all round i been playing football for 5 years and i am just about to start rugby.

I say thats good, but take it easy. If you're still growing this could be pretty hard on your joints/bones. Make sure you leave atleast 48hours between each individual muscle routine that is if you're devoting one day to 1-2 muscles (after you've been lifting a few months).

Make sure not to neglect the cardio, its so good for you. I prefer just doing sprints 2x a week and jog 1-2miles 2x a week.
