How can I handle school stress better? |
Today was my second day of school, and my first real day of school. I'm a freshman, so I'm trying to adjust to high school. Today, I was doing some math homework, and didn't have a calculator with me (it was in my room). I had forgotten about the homework, and started freaking out because that meant I would have to shower later. I began doing the problems without calculator help, and became so frustrated that I just started crying over my math homework. P.S. I did find my calculator and finish my math homework correctly... I'm a freshmen also, a step from middle school to highschool is huge, and you get WAY more homework... the 3rd day... i got 2 major reports, and about a total of 9 worksheets... and a bunch of notes to write xD.... Honestly, you won't do this, but I smoke weed. It relaxes me and balances me out, without it i wouldnt even be able to do my homework when im stressed lol... wow.. |

I'm a freshmen also, a step from middle school to highschool is huge, and you get WAY more homework... the 3rd day... i got 2 major reports, and about a total of 9 worksheets... and a bunch of... stop being a pussy ...MY DAD IS THE SAME WAY... i was always being lectured about something, or he'd make me do errands and then lecture me somemore about crap that didnt even matter. i love him to death, but he is... I have had acupuncture many times and it does help. I did not use it for stress management though. You might also consider a massage to help you feel less stressed. Eli Bay has some great CD... There are a lot of little things you can do to relieve stress. You could take a bath, pamper yourself. Try doing yoga or meditation. Both have proven effective in the healing process. Write about h... you need to learn how to let your mind escape a situation that gets you angry or annoyed. I suffer from the same thing at times. you do the right thing though, removing yourself from the situation.... When you notice yourself feeling like twitching or wanting to pinch yourself, ask yourself, "What is making me feel so stressed right now?" Concentrate on what the stress is instead of y... "Why have I been diagnoised with so many things is it even possible??" Is it even possible? Please note that I am literally going downstairs to get the letter from my last appointment ... |
