Can stress lead to seizures |
i just found out today that my dad has cancer in his lungs liver and lymph nodes, and that they can't do anything to completely cure him (aka hes going to die). its put me under a lot of stress and depression, and later after the news i got up to go to the bathroom, and it felt like i got a huge head rush, then i couldn't see anything, just black, then i fell to the ground and started shaking, i assume this was a seizure. can stress and depression lead to a seizure? after the seizure, i was hyperventilating. Sounds like an anxiety or panic attack..Stress will bring them on. Ativan or Alprazolam is usually prescribed to help alleviate the stress . i believe it was a anxiety too. becuz when u have a seizure u wake up and u dont even know what happened. cuz i had a seizure and i came too and had no idea why i was on the ground. but there is different kinds of seizures i had a grand mal one and that one is like the worst one. stress can do many things, yes I have stress related seizures I've had them since 1980 I was hit by a car which initiated the problem sorry about your Dad tell him whatever it is you have to say and tell him you'll be okay God Bles you and your family I lost my Dad in 2006 YES. Seizure is a remote possibility, but it most likely it was some form of anxiety attack. It wouldn't hurt to get checked out by your doctor just to be safe. I agree with maybe anxiety. I doub't you had a seizure. That's a lot to take in. I'm sorry :( |
