I'm under a lot of stress. whats a way to help me be less stressed out??? |
??? help !!!! 1. Take a relaxing bath Have a cry, read a nice short book, like a Readers Digest, they are filled with distracting little stories to take your mind off things, and spend some, um, "time" with yourself before you go to sleep. That's always good for stress (and headaches!). As crazy as this might sound, grab a hershey bar! My ninth grade Math teacher taught us how to relieve stress. Whenever you are feeling particularly stressful (though in your case, you seem to be in quite a lot of strain at the moment, so I say you should start after you read my answer), try clapping your hands as if you were applauding. Just keep applauding, until you feel like you are releasing any strain. Have you notice how babies seem very happy and cheerful whenever they are clapping? That is because they are releasing stress! Another way to release stress would be to pretend to shake hands with another person, say "Hi!" and then throw your head back and laugh. I know it seems strange, but you can do that when you alone in the house. If you experience any further stress, you can do a bit of research and look for a "Laughter Club". These clubs are designed for those who are in constant stress, and their goal is to keep these people positive and as stress free as possible. it depends on what kind of stress....um....sorta like if you have stress from a relationship and stress from homework they probably wont have the same solution. i say take a hot shower, sit down, and close your eyes, take a deepbreath, and put on a face pad thing and relax. 1- Talk things over with friends, family, pastor, counselor I actually just wrote about ways to reduce stress - here are some tips that work for me that may require looking at stress differently - journal it out before a warm bubble bath. have a nice snack and maybe just watch a movie or a show that can make you laugh and just forget about everything for that night. maybe just listen to music in a calm atmosphere. You should take a really long shower and imagine that the water is washing away all the stress and negativity. probably sounds kinda silly but it works for me anyway! listen to the song "no stress" which i believe is by laurent wolf, it will make you feel better just hang in there !! take a bubble bath, light 2 or three candles, then get a good book or magazine, or turn on some calm music and just relax! see if you can find a massage school in your area.. there is one near me in NC and its $25, and its great.. |
