How to overcome stress

Stress is caused by various reasons..

I suggest you a course of yoga/respiration technique called "Sudarshana Kriya" that is taught by the "ART OF LIVING", an organization founded by Sri Sri Ravishankar, that teaches how to get out of all the day-to-day stress and lead a happy life. Stress is part off life.
If you are extremly stressed you should figure out exactly whats causing the stree in your life and begin to change it.
For example:Ive been with my b/f for 9 years and have suffered from extreme depression bought on by stress and anxiety. Basically its all down to my b/s s**t hes bought to me for years.
So now instead of carrying on like this and being stressed out all the time, i realise its time for change, so im kicing him out ha!

So figure out where the root of the stress is and change it for the better.

Try and remember that nothing changes within a day so you cannot try and change it right away. You will work on yourself first and then the problem, whatever it may be. Take deep breaths, listen to good music, eat good foods that are low in sodium, and exercise. Also, do something for yourself that relieves stress. One thing I do is I go to the mall by myself in the weekday when there aren't a lot of people there and just window shop for a couple of hours. Sometimes I even try stuff on or buy something! It really helps to take stress off!

Hi! its easy to fight stress. Be a bit disciplined that is make sure you are eating less junk food, if you dont eat junk food at all, nothing better than that. also please ensure you do yoga and pranayam every single day atleast for 30minutes. Have you checked your BP? People with symptoms of High BP also suffer from stress issues. Are you overweight? If not then you can fight stress easily. Have you heard about a herb called ginseng? its a very good stress buster, chinese people serve ginseng tea so that your nerves are relaxed and you have no stress. Breathing exercises, any type of physical exercise, yoga, tia chi, meditation.
Also laughter. Try watching the comedy channel. Laughter releases endorphins that are known to relieve stress.

If you are a religious even prayer can help.


1. Avoid reading futile books/megazines or viewing such video/films which provide porne, violance provoking material.
2. Be very simple in routine. Use simple vegetarian food.
3. Don鈥檛 be late in sleeping at night.
8. Don鈥檛 sleep upto late morning.

10. Avoid the friends who like useless discussions, and time killing.

1 - If you can recite the hymes from the holy books do it.
2 - Listen to soft music.
3 - Divert your attention to some other thing.
4 - Go out in a park
5 - Watch Moovie.
6 - watch ' Tom & Jerry '
Can do all or even one will do.

Breathe well and also listen it for sometime.Divert your mind and do the things you like most.
