People who experience, or know a bit about stress? |
What are some effects that stress can have on peoples bodies? physically and/or mentally? I know the basics like headaches and tiredness, but if you think more deeply into it, what are some other things that stress can cause? Depression/Suicide Stress can affect the body in numerous ways, high blood pressure, muscle spasms, aching joints, heartburn, other stomach problems, hormone fluctuations, back and neck pain, depression, anxiety, weight loss/gain, skin discomfort, sleep problems, even vision can be affected by stress. Prolonged stress can lead to cancer, and even death. Stress can cause many different things such as stomach aches, fatigue, anxiety, mood swings, and depression.
