Unable to get en erection, could it be stress?

Last night my girlfriend and I tried to have sex, but I couldn't get "it" up. I've been a little stressed over work, school and my parents. Could stress have affected me so much, that I was unable to perform? Thoughts?

stress could be a factor... maybe you were not concentrating and you have decreased amount of hormones that can cause erection, and this decrease can be brought about by stress..

try a warm water bath before doing the act.. it can actually relieve stress...

definitely. I would try a massage therapy session with gf and maybe some tantric sex since it is the art of connecting and withholding. sometimes stress just blocks all good things out. You fight back though. Do some deep breathing, massage each other clear the biggest sex organ which is the brain. clear it, and soak in the moment you are in with gf at that moment without thinking about anything else. Show your body and mind who the boss is.
Good luck to you

Hi Dear,
Bingo!!! Yes stress can affect your Willy in having sex. Stress can affect you in many different ways. You should wait until all things that are stressing you out blow over before trying to have sex again.Don't worry there's nothing wrong with you this is a natural reaction because of stress My Friend.

Have you and your girlfriend had sex before? Stress can play a major role because your mind is focusing on other things. Maybe your were to excited or anxious? Try fooling around more before you get right to it. Have her do a strip dance or something to get the blood flowing first.
