How do you get rid of your stress/anxiety? |
I really have no way healthy way of getting rid of my anxiety, I run sometimes but it doesn't help. What do you guys do? Drink (even though it's not healthy but a glass of wine is fine), be around my family - especially my neice, play with my cat, go to the gym, eat a ton of pizza lol Usually during the cycle of anxiety, a person opposes it all with - "No, go away anxiety. Not now. Please!" And of course - the anxiety has a mind of its own. It comes along and with all the irrational thoughts in the world. However, if you take deep breaths, use reverse psychology and instead encourage and welcome the anxiety with "Go ahead. I'm happy to see you," as if you are superior to it, it is proven that the anxiety will not mount. useful link read |
