It seems that everyone is so stressed-what is the best way to relax without medications?

You can take supplement, which is Vitamin C.

First of all, if you are not on any medication, look to natural remedies. There are herbal non habit forming tranquilisers which you can buy at the chemist. Also you may want to look into having a course of hypnotherapy - from that you can learn how to meditate and do deep breathing and relaxation. Its very useful.
And look at whats causing the problems in your life - try and get rid of them. Eliminate as many triggers as you can.
And if you still feel unwell, see your doctor about possibly having a short course of anti anxiety medication it is very effective.
If you are already on medication, keep taking it and dont come off it unless your doctor thinks you should. And in this case you can still try the hypnotherapy theres a lot to be gained from it

There are a lot of good ways to do that!

I'm very fond of long baths. I only do it when I'm alone, but it's like a ritual. Fill up the tub with hot soapy water, grab my laptop and turn on an audiobook/some music, and just soak. Slowly let your mind relax, let your thoughts play themselves out, and eventually slow to a crawl. By the time you're finished soaking, you'll be thoroughly relaxed, both physically and psychologically.

Something else that's good for that is a walk. It's simple, and it's pleasant. If you find yourself getting too worked up about something, smile, and take a step back. Get outside, and walk for a a few minutes. Just take a few breaths of fresh air, and clear your head.

Meditation is brilliant for relaxing. Even if you don't want to meditate, or you think it's stupid, look into it. You don't have to go all the way, but the simple little exercises that they give you in the beginning are perfect for little stress reliefs, and you will feel very relaxed when you're finished.

I know that a lot of people relax by doing yoga, or a quiet activity.

Sometimes doing something childish, like finger painting, or coloring can be very relaxing as well.

Recreation - do something fun and laugh a lot.

Our world is out of balance - everyone needs to take time to put their worries on a shelf for a few minutes and PLAY.

Take a bike ride for a half hour, play a hand of cards with your friends, throw a ball back & forth, take the dog for a walk.... just take a little time each day to do something fun.

Other de-stress techniques:
herbal tea, massage, aromatherapy, moderate exercise,
journaling...write it down, get it out of your head an onto paper
