My friend got in an accident and his body is stressed. What are some remedies to soothe a stressed body?


Although he was not injured severely, his body is stressed. What are some things to help soothe this? Thanks for any advice. I'm going to go spend time with this person tomorrow.

Maybe just laying on the couch listening to soothing music and talking. Or a massage with warm oil and warm towels might help to relax his muscles a bit ( if you are comfortable doing that). Also you could try maybe letting him know that a warm bath might also releive stress. Let the calgon take him away ( so to speak lol ). Hot tea, soup also may help.

Massage. It's the best remedy for severe fatigue and muscle strain. Also, an over-the-counter remedy for Arnica... usually a homeopathic found in most health stores.

Look for Arnica Relief by NatraBio or Arnica medication from Hyland's.

Massage. Particularly where the muscles ache. Also try a hot tub.

A bath, or a dip in the pool or hotub. Or you could get a massage! Hope I helped :-)
