My friend got homesick at my sleepover and know I'm stressing? |
my best friend got homesick last night at my sleepover. she did not go home but called her mom to make sure she was ok. now i'm scared that her mom will hate me and never want me at her house again. my friend emailed me this afternoon and said that her mom was not mad at me. but im stilll worried about the other girls moms finding out than getting mad at me. is this all my fault. i feel so awful. help me. Oh honey, it is certainly not your fault and I seriously doubt anyone is mad at you. It is your friend that freaked out, and you had nothing to do with it. Moms know these things happen and she probably understands.... When I was young I got homesick and it was me that my mom got upset with, not my friend... and the same thing happened when my daughter started sleeping over with her best friend, she called me crying to come home and I went and got her, I honestly felt sorry for her best friend but DID NOT get upset with her friend, nor did her other friends parents... Its not your fault dear. Please don't be upset .. by the way... I absolutely welcomed any and all of my daughers friends, and don't judge them for what my daughter does... Your friend just got scared because she was away from her mom, don't worry.. be happy nah. That is so common. you'd be suprised. No one will blame you . Some kids get like that . Especially "only" children. stop worrying and please stop using yahoo answers till you've turned 12. How old are you. Hey if she doenst want to sleep over anymore, that is fine.You can always see her any other time.What is the sleepover for. Doesnt she have her own bed? It's not your fault. Some people just get worried when they are not in the safety of their own home. Her mom is not mad at you, she probably just realized that her daughter was worried about her. I am 25, when I was 6, my best friend got homesick EVERY time she slept over, and yet she would still come over every weekend. no its not your fault. everyone gets home sick after a while. i mean, u didnt do anything Im not sure why her being homesick is your fault. Im sure other moms are not going to be angry with you, I really dont thing the girls being home sick had anything to do with you. Chill out girlie! |
