Stress, anyone know of remedies that work? |
I have tried Kalms but they are not helping. Would prefer natural remedies rather than prescription drugs. Trying relaxation excercises too. Thank you in advance. try Saint Johns Wart. it's a natural antidepressant derived from a plant extract. you can buy it from chemists. (see the vitamin section) or from a health food shop. it's supposed to be good for mild / moderate depression. Source(s): i've suffered from depression on and off for about 7 years... and i've found that exercise really does help.. i get out for a walk every day, and i find i'm a lot more positive for it. just read what the last 2 people have said about cannabis.... it's not a good thing to take if u have underlying mental health problems.... it can amplify existing issues like depression, paranoia and anxiety. i'm sure if u look it up on the internet, u will find lots of medical reports to support what i've just said. bachs rescue remedy I know its not an answer a lot of people would like to hear. But it is 100% natural. And it does relieve stress. Marijuana Have you tried exercise? Exercise uses the hormones that make you stressed, reduce adrenaline etc, plus you get fitter in the process. Fantastic thing to do too if you are having a panic attack run somwehere gets it all out of your system. Literally! If you don't feel like exercise just put on some of your favourite tunes and dance round your living room. scented candles...lemon scented is best but other citruses work too You could try getting more sleep, taking up different forms of exercise such as yoga, walking, jogging, relaxing in a hot bath, Tai Chi, go on a holiday, take multivitamins or B group vitamins, horlics and warm milk, go shopping or to the movies - all great stress relievers |
