Stressed out! Weight loss is taking over my life!? |
This April, I went on holiday, and thats when I started to dislike my image. I felt fat, and I did eat a lot- because I had a huge appetite and snacked when I was bored. I thought I was big. I am 5'5 and weighed around 126 pounds- and I was 13. Okay, so I'll lose a bit of weight, I told myself. You don't look fat, but I knew I'd feel more comfortable. It became an obsession. I would awake really early in the morning to prepare a fake breakfast so that it looked to my family as though I'd eaten. I threw my lunch out on the way to school. I ate as little dinner as I could, avoiding bread and cutting out meat altogether- mostly I ate salad. If I had a bad day, I would come home and binge-eat. I felt terrible afterwards, and would sick it up. I went to a friends' party, and ate a lot- so faked illness for a week. I think I now weigh 7 stone (98 pounds.) People say I'm thin, which I like. How can I maintain my weight?! I am going on holiday and my parents will watch me eat! What can I do?! You're cutting out a lot of food out of your diet, that's not healthy! Don't be afraid to eat meat because you think you will get fat. If you are afraid you're going to gain weight from eating meat, or having breakfast and other meals/snacking...go jogging and some kind of workout (such as a sport or activity) that will help you stay in shape and maintain weight. If you don't eat breakfast, then that is actually more unhealthy because you will eat more calories. Have some healthy cereal for breakfast, for lunch have a sandwich with some fruit and some milk or juice. You should eat all of your dinner. Just keep a balanced diet, good exercise, 7-8 hours of sleep and weight will take care of itself. Sorry but your eating habits (or not eating habits) sound like an illness to me. It's not a healthy way to treat your body. I think it's time you talk to your parents, or a doctor. well by now from what it seems, your stomach has shrunk. so eat when you're parents around, and only eat until you're full. make sure you dont over load your plate either. take what you think will make you full. you won't gain weight by eating for a few days, if anything you're body will be happy you gave it something and burn it up faster, you may even lose a pound or two. plus it sounds like you have an eating disorder, it sounds like a little food will do you a lot of good. At 5 foot 5 inches and 98 lbs you are underweight. Your post about your eating habits, binging and obession with food indicates you have an eating disorder. Please get help, your current path can kill you. Hi, I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work! A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at http://www.freelstore.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
